F.A.Q.
There's No Quit! Kickboxing and Self Studio is a locally owned and operated Studio offering Kickboxing Classes and Self Defense Classes in the Panama City, FL area.
What if I've never done kickboxing before?
Our kickboxing classes are structured to start with an instructional warm up. The first few minutes of class will be spent going through each of the punches and kicks to allow the opportunity to learn while warming up your muscles.
What should I wear to class?
Be sure to wear comfortable clothing you can easily move in. We recommend athletic wear that is not so loose you may get caught in it, yet not so tight that it restricts your movement.
Do I need special shoes for classes?
No, you do not. You have the option or wearing socks or going bare footed. Our Studio is equipped with specialized rubber flooring.

We do allow kickboxing shoes that must be worn In-Studio only. Any shoe requests must be approved by the instructor.
Do I need to sign up or reserve my class time?
We recommend reservations for all class times, however, we only require reservations for the 6:00am class. In the event of a full class, the reservation list will take priority of attendance. Please check the calendar for class times.
What equipment is required? Do I need gloves?
We have gloves on hand you can borrow for your first two classes, after which you will need to provide your own gear.

We have gloves and hand wraps for purchase or you can utilize gear from another retailer.
How old do you have to be to participate in kickboxing?
Youth ages 13 and up may participate in our regularly scheduled Adult Kickboxing Classes. See our Calendar page for available class times.
Can I use wraps instead of gloves?
Yes, you can. However, you cannot hit the bag as hard with wraps as you can with gloves. Wearing wraps alone will not provide as good of a workout since your hitting force will be limited.
How early do I need to show up for class?
We recommend you arrive about 10 minutes early to allow for time to get your gear on and ready for class. Stretching is included as part of the class time.
